Changing Landscape II
Digital Collage, Archival Ink on Archival Paper
17” x 24”
2015

In gathering, in cleaning and in the application processes, sand being mined right now in Western Wisconsin contaminates air, water and land. It is used to release natural gas from earth’s subsurface. Our landscapes are changing as large quarries are taking over the farmlands. Hydraulic fracturing or “fracking” is a primary threat to drinking water. We are compromising our water systems by our need for greed.
